About

Pat MalloyThe Pat Malloy Open is an annual memorial golf tournament in memory of a great man, Pat Malloy.

Pat Malloy was a generous man who loved golf. He lost his battle with lung and brain cancer in April 2012. He was always the life of the party and his family can think of no better way to honour his memory than to hold a fun day for everyone to enjoy and raise some funds along the way.

All proceeds from the tournament are donated to the Ottawa Cancer Centre and every dollar helps.

The tournament was founded in 2013 by Pat’s wife and three sons. They continue to run the tournament and would like to personally thank everyone who participates every year.

To date the Pat Malloy Open has raised more than $17500 for the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre. This tournament would not be a success without all of the volunteers, players and sponsors.
